CRAFTERHOURS [craft-after-hours] are a simple activity where we spend time together chatting while keeping our hands busy! Each month, on a weekday evening at Atelier Retailles, we gather to share, exchange, and craft as a group. A different theme each session—come take part in a super relaxed time of repetitive, meditative work! Materials*, snacks, and drinks included. The cost of participation is $17.39.
April 22: Tender Green
On the occasion of Earth Day, come spend the evening playing with the color green! In a kind of collective forest bath, we’ll draw, paint, and write together, freely creating on green sheets of paper using the mediums of your choice. The only rule is to explore green—leaves, lichens, mosses, vegetables, algae—the tender green of the earth.
We invite you to bring seeds to exchange, in preparation for the planting season, if you’d like. You can also bring any specific art materials you’d like to use.
Included: prompts and suggestions, pencils, pens, a sheet of handmade paper (green, of course), and a small glass of wine.
