The Annual Exhibition of Graduating Design Students at UQAM

From May 7 to 20, 2026, the Design Pavilion at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) will open its doors to the public for the 12th edition of the Design Annual. For the first time, the event will span 14 days and adopt a large-scale format, bringing together a program of major events and a large-scale exhibition. This exhibition, featuring nearly 250 graduating students from UQAM’s School of Design and School of Fashion, will showcase the creativity of the next generation of designers.
The Annual remains a key event for identifying and recruiting talented design students. The opening, which attracts over 3,000 people each year, offers a unique opportunity for professionals and the general public to connect with graduating students and discover their work.
The six floors of the Design Pavilion will be transformed into a vast exhibition gallery, showcasing student work from the Bachelor of Graphic Design and Visual Experiences, Environmental Design, Fashion Design and Management, as well as the Graduate Diploma in Event Design and the Master of Environmental Design.
In addition to the projects displayed in the pavilion, video projections will be presented throughout the Annual on the façade of the Design Pavilion, a permanent space for exploration and dissemination for students dedicated to illustration and moving images.
