Presentation of the Queer Print Club
ARCMTL, 6600 St-Urbain local 306
Presentation of the Queer Print Club and their work by Micha and Mia.
The Queer Print Club’s mandate is to create a safer, non-hierarchical space for LGBTQIA2S+ students interested in print. It is a place for open discussion and exploration of the collaborative, community-based and democratic aspects of print. Some endeavours of QPC include: artist talks, workshops, group discussions, collaborative zine-making, tabling at zine fairs such as Expozine and Queer Between the Covers, fundraising, community outreach and a collective exhibition.
QPC hopes to involve students regardless of major and faculty in Print Media. They intend to share printing knowledge and resources, print student work, sell student work (with profits returning to the artists), promote queer printmakers and designers, and create a network of printers and non-printers alike.
