About Fraktur Fire and Elemental Inventories
“When artists set out to create magical objects and incantations, the result is magic multiplied. It’s louder, and brighter. Jason Urban and Leslie Mutchler offer us this by drawing on the visual language of the Natural History Museum: an archive. Through their work, they reveal a shifting inventory of talismanic objects and spells, designed for our times. This kind of magic is essential.”
